Croze

Terms of use

What you agree to when you use Croze, and what is not tolerated.

Effective October 21, 2026

The agreement

Using Croze means agreeing to these terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which applies to every app on the App Store. Where these terms say more, they add to it. Rainshadow Software LLC, Washington, USA publishes Croze.

Your account

What you make

Your specs, specialty ingredients, lists, pairings and the reasons you write for them, reviews and replies, and profile text are yours. You give Croze the right to show them to other people at the visibility you choose, as the privacy policy describes, and nothing more.

Community rules

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. That means no harassment, threats, hateful content, sexual content, spam or impersonation, and nothing unlawful.

Content that is reported and found to break these rules is removed, and the account that posted it is suspended.

Reporting and blocking

Every spec, list, review, specialty ingredient and pairing has a Report action, in its “…” menu or on its row, and so does every profile, in the menu at the top right. Every profile also has a Block; you can undo it in Settings → Blocked. We review every report within 24 hours. Reports are confidential: the person who reported is never named.

Recipes

Recipes can be wrong. The catalogue is ours; specs belong to the people who wrote them. Measure and taste for yourself, and drink responsibly. Nothing in Croze is advice.

Copyright

The text of the catalogue is ours and cites its sources. A rights holder who finds their work on Croze or croze.app can write to hello@rainshadowhq.com with a link to it, and it is removed promptly.

Changes and contact

The date at the top is the latest revision, and material changes are noted in the app’s release notes. Questions: hello@rainshadowhq.com.
